The Department of Public Instruction requires two official student counts per year - one on the third Friday in September and one on the second Friday in January.  The September count is a part of the current year state revenue cap, and the September and January counts are a part of the state equalization aid formula in the following school year.  Here are the most recent enrollment counts:
