Waunakee Community School District offers many exciting, challenging and above all FUN classes to engage your child in summer learning. Courses are available for children from Pre-K thru 12th grade and include enrichment, remedial, music, weight training, and swim lessons.
Registration for Summer School is based on your child's current grade.
NEW THIS YEAR:
You will need to have your student’s id# in order to register for Summer School. By entering their student id # and birth date, you will be able to "claim" your student. The system will now auto fill their information that has been provided in the Infinite Campus parent portal account.
How do I find out my student's id #?
For Waunakee Community School District families currently in Infinite Campus: go to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. You can access the portal by clicking on the bright green Infinite Campus icon found on the District web page. It is at the top right of the screen directly above the search box. Sign into your account. Select the student in the drop down box. The student number is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen. Note: Younger siblings will also have their own student number.
If you are private schooled, out of district, home schooled or new to the district, contact Julie Gengler at firstname.lastname@example.org or 608-849-2470 for a student ID number. She will need your child's name, date of birth, current grade level, male/female and parent/guardian address information. If you contact her prior to March 20, your student id will be set up in time to register on April 6. If you set up your student id after March 20, there may be a delay as to when you can register.
Classes are open to all children living within the boundaries of the Waunakee Community School District whether they attend WCSD or not. Non-Residents are also welcome to participate in our summer school program. Fees for non-resident students are higher.
REMEDIAL AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS:
Remedial (6 week) and enrichment classes (3 or 6 weeks depending on grade) are offered from Pre-kindergarten through high school.
Two week day or four week evening programs June - August.
Band, Orchestra and Vocal music lessons are offered during the morning session.
