Welcome to 8th grade Social Studies, my name is Brad Lussier. This is my 6th year teaching 8th grade Social Studies in Waunakee after having substitute taught in Waunakee for 3 years. I look forward to working with students every day with all the joy and challenges they bring.

Beyond teaching I enjoy many outdoor and sports related activities. I spent many weekends this summer hiking and camping with my wife Julie our dog, Dodger.  In addition, we recently have welcomed in our first child, Lucy in November 2010.  For the first time, I am experiencing what people say when the kids grow up so fast.   I am an avid follower of sports, especially the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers teams. I continue to play softball, basketball, and golf as I love the exercise and playing.

My love of sports also has led to me coaching in Waunakee. I am the varsity girls basketball coach.  I am entering my 13th year overall in the girls basketball program, my 3rd as the varsity coach.
