I started teaching at Waunakee Community Middle School in 1993.  It was then, and still is today, my dream job!

I teach 7th and 8th Grade Bands at the Middle School. I love the variety that our music program offers: concert band, jazz band, solos, large ensembles, composing, music technology, marching, world music, and on & on.  I learn something new every day and work with some of the best colleagues, students, and parents!

Outside of school, I enjoy playing music with my husband and friends. I am a member of the Madison Brass Band, and play the alto horn.  My husband & I played in the 1st Brigade Band for over 15 years, and enjoy traveling in the US and Europe with friends from that group.

When I am not teaching music or playing music, I enjoy escaping into my garden, practicing yoga, relaxing with my husband, and playing with our yellow lab, Angel.
