WMS Band students are encouraged to use the Music Suite to practice in the mornings before school. This can help them to get their practice minutes in without having to juggle homework, co-curriculars, and other activities.

There are some simple guidelines to follow to take advantage of this opportunity:

• Students may arrive between 7:20-7:40 am. No special pass is required.
  • If Ms. Braun does not arrive by 7:40, go outside. There will be no Morning Practice that day.
• Sit quietly in the Music Hallway until the room is opened.
• Once you enter the Music Suite, you will not be able to leave until the bell rings.
  • 8th Grade Woodwinds & Brass: use Room 153 (Ms. Pahnke'sGeneral Music) 
  • All Percussion students: use Ensemble Room 152.
  • 7th Grade Woodwinds & Brass: use Band Room 154

STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO PRACTICE THEIR INSTRUMENT UNTIL 8:00.

Please keep all doors closed.

Students who are disruptive or arrive after 7:40 will not be allowed to stay for practice.

Students may loose their Morning Practice privilege if they do not follow these expectations.

Please understand that Morning Practice is a privilege, not a right. There will be days when Morning Practice is not offered. When possible, Ms. Braun will notify students in advance if Morning Practice will not be available.

Morning Practice privileges may be revoked at any time, at the discretion of the teachers! Please follow all expectations so that all Band students can enjoy this opportunity.
