Band is offered as an elective course in 7th and 8th Grades. The Middle School Band is a continuation of 6th Grade Band offered in the Intermediate School.
Students in Middle School Band have full band rehearsals every other day for 45 minutes, and one small group lesson once every six school days. There are currently two sections of 7th Grade Band that combine for performances and one section of 8th Grade Band.
Our curriculum includes concert performances, solo & ensembles, and marching. Our students work with a wide array of technology to develop their playing skills and understanding of music theory, and to begin to compose & arrange their own music.

The Middle School Band teacher is Ms. Gina Braun.
Mr. Ryan Gill team teaches 7th and 8th Grade Band and teaches some lessons.
Mr. Robinson (HS Band Director), and Ms. Pahnke (MS General Music Teacher), also teach Band lessons at the Middle School.
