Pathways at Arboretum and Heritage

Pathways is the name for gifted and talented services in The Waunakee School District.  I am one of the 1.5 full time specialists at the K-4 level.  I am the specialist for both Arboretum and Heritage Elementary Schools and Allison Voeller is the specialist for Prairie Elementary School.  Although my schedule varies at times, my general schedule is Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays at Arboretum and Thursdays & Fridays at Heritage.

  • Graduated from Waunakee High School with honors
  • Graduated from University of Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Multi-cultural Education
  • Graduated from National Louis University with a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction with focus on the implications of Brain Research in education
  • Taught in Madison Public School Disctrict for 9 years
  • Served on the Waunakee Pathways Parent Advisory Committee for 2 years
  • Have been a part of the Pathways staff  in the Waunakee School District for 8 years
