My name is Jane Fazio and I teach 8th grade mathematics. I am also the Mathematics Chair for the Waunakee School District. This is the start of my 21st year at the middle school and I am starting my 33rd year of teaching. I could not imagine doing anything else with my life and I look forward to every day here at the middle school.

My husband Mark and I celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary in April.  We are big baseball fans and root hard for both the Cubs and the Brewers.  I have a tendency to follow the Cubs more closely and my husband is the bigger Brewer fan.  This works out well unless they are playing each other.  We have one son Michael and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Emily.  They live in New Berlin where Michael is a computer programmer and Emily is a music teacher.  We are very proud of them and enjoy spending time with them.

I also teach a Math Methods class at Edgewood College.  I love working with pre-service teachers and this is a wonderful way for me to give back to the field of education.
