• Grew up in northern Michigan on Lake Superior
• Interests include traveling, rollerblading, biking, camping, fishing, violin, Badger and Packer football, and spending time with family and friends

• Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005
• 7th year teaching at Waunakee Community Middle School
• Middle School Science Building Coordinator
• Junior Science Olympiad coach
