The 7th grade students began a unit on color by making a creative color wheel.  They designed a motif and traced it using light boxes and windows.  They were careful to flip the design/motif each time so the final color wheel would have a kaleidoscope effect.  Students only used the three primary colors to mix all of the colors in their color wheels.  When displayed as a group the results were quite spectacular.
