Students used circle templates to find interesting non-objective compositions in recycled magazines.  Students were challenged to chose compositions based on interesting lines, textures, patterns, colors, etc. without portraying any easily recognizable objects.  Students painted their compositions with watercolor paints and used pen & ink to enhance details.

This project is based off of a colored pencil project taught by Bunki Kramer of Los Cerros Middle School.
