Students were surprised to see the giant still life set up in the center of the room when they arrived to class.  We began by reading some background information and looking at slides of work by Cezanne.  Then we made some thumbnail sketches from different angles and transferred a thumbnail sketch to final paper.  Soft pastels were used to add color, value, and texture.  The final results were quite impressive!
