Students studied two different techniques used in Africa to decorate cloth.  Adire Eleso is a process of tying or sewing fabric before soaking it in a vat of dye.  Adinkra is the process of printing designs and symbols onto fabric.  Even though these two procedures are practiced in different areas of Africa, we combined them to make these very colorful projects.
