Employability Skills Certificates is an opportunity for students to showcase they have mastered the employability skills which are valued by employers. This program at is usually offered to students during their Junior year. For more information follow this link: Employability Skills Certificate Program
To earn the Employability Skills Certificate from the state, a student needs to complete 90 hours of on-the-job work experience. In order to successfully complete the program, students must turn in a state portfolio before the end of the program.
Students interested in the Employability Skills Certificate progrm should talk to their School Counselor or School-to-Career Coordinator.
While teachrs may become aware of available positions, finding a job is ultimately the responsibility of the student/parent/guardian. If you have questions regarding job placement, please contact your School-To-Career Coordinator.
