Every student belongs to one of the 7th and 8th grade teaching teams. The educational teams consist of teachers who collaborate and communicate to support learning in the core content areas of communication arts, math, social studies, and science. Our students work with their team teachers several times throughout the week. Children expand their learning with one of their core content area team teachers through homeroom activities. Homeroom provides students with the opportunity to establish powerful, positive, relationships with caring adults. Students learn about our school and the high academic and behavioral expectations our community holds for them through their work in homeroom. Homeroom also allows students to extend their learning in content areas.
