What does Student Council do?

Student Council sponsors our Middle School Parties! Check out the new Powerpoint outlining the expectations at our dances/parties.

We also arrange other cool, fun events, such as...

• the school-wide Talent Show
• dress-up days and other events for MOYA, and Middle Level Education Month
• Student/Staff Challenges
• Provide prizes for homeroom challenges like the Soldier Drive and Food Drives
• Yearly Penny War
• Supply dinner/desserts for the teachers during Parent/Teacher Conferences
• Bring in speakers/assemblies
• Raise money for charities (Leukemia Society, H2O for Life, Waunakee Neighborhood Connection, Community needs)
• Recognize our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week
• Recognize our community volunteers

Requirements:               Meets criteria stated in the Middle School Co-Curricular Handbook.

                                           An interest in being a leader, having a voice in our school; performing service

                                            activities; passing grades; school spirit.

Description:                  Provide leadership and service to student body and school community; sponsor

and participate in MS parties and service events; plan school activities; and

fundraise.
