Summer can be a great time to use reading to prepare for the next school year, or to read for fun. Here are some suggestions for finding a book for summer reading!

 Destiny, our library catalog, has many groupings of books you might want to look through. Once in Destiny go to the Catalog tab, then click Visual Search. Try some of these lists:

Reading Lists for MS Courses contains groups of non-fiction books that will help you get ready for 7th and 8th grade Science and Social Studies classes at the Middle School.

The Summer Reading category takes you to lists of fiction reading suggestions - some tied to Communication Arts and Social Studies.

If you are looking for a book at a particular Lexile level, take a look at the Books by Lexile category.

Other categories that may be of interest include Fiction Genres, The Classics, and Newbery Books.

Look at NoveList K-8 for lots of themed book lists (use your public library card to log in if the link doesn't take you right in)
