Recess Buddies is a program involving fourth grade students who help out on the kindergarten through second grade playground before school. The recess buddies help get out equipment, help teach games to the younger students, help watch for unsafe behavior, and help put away equipment. Students involved in the buddy program were nominated by teachers as being responsible, respectful, and helpful.
