Newsletters, bulletins, classroom events - Contact Home-School Liaison
School staff desiring to relay or offer information to families should contact the ELL Home-School Liaison. Briana Boodry will review the material and contact the family through the most appropriate means (e.g., phone call, written note, personal visit, etc.). Outreach/contact to families will be made within 72 hours of notification. Please send your information electronically to Briana at bboodry@waunakee.k12.wi.us to expedite the process. The home-school liaison will not be responsible for preparing written translations of a legal nature. WCSD will look to other means to meet those requirements (see below).

Written translations will be prepared for all legal matters, including:
Report Cards
Individual Education Plans (IEP)
504 Assessments
Student Discipline Hearings
Law Enforcement/ Child Protective matters
Health/Medical Emergency Matters
Discrimination Complaints
Student Manifestation Hearings
If you need a legal matter translated or interpreted, contact Diane Parsell or Amy Johnson at 849-2020 to make arrangements. It is essential that you are timely and provide the needed time to fulfill the request. WCSD needs early, advance notice if a family requires language different than Spanish.
