Elementary School Offerings

Elementary General Music is the foundation of all of our music programs here at Waunakee.  At the K-4 level, all students take music class as part of their encore classes. Students experience music in a fun, structured class environment with music representing many cultures. The rich curriculum follows the state standards in performing, connecting, responding, and creating music.  Students showcase learning at an annual Spring concert. Music literacy, singing, and classroom instruments, including recorder and piano, are woven into the grade levels, serving as a solid foundation for secondary choral and instrumental study.
