We’re thrilled to begin another year of learning, growth, and connection in the Waunakee Community School District.
Over the summer, our staff has been preparing classrooms, planning meaningful learning experiences, and making sure each of our schools is ready to welcome students with care and confidence. Whether you’re a returning family or new to our district, we’re so glad you’re here.
As we kick off the year, our focus remains the same—supporting every student as they grow, feel a sense of belonging, and work toward becoming their best selves in a safe and welcoming environment.
Below, you’ll find key resources to help you get started—everything from school calendars and supply lists to transportation and event information. This page will be updated regularly, so we encourage you to check back throughout the start of the year.

School Supply Lists
Grab your 2026–27 school supply lists here to make sure your student is ready for the first day!
Before purchasing new items,
we encourage students and families to check what they already have at home and reuse supplies whenever possible.
2026-2027 School Supply Lists
Registered?Our online registration for the 2026-2027 school year will
take place in July 2026.
All families of returning and new students are REQUIRED to register.
Families will login to Infinite Campus Parent Portal to register.
We ask that all families update and double check contact information.
Registration Opens in July
Transportation
The Waunakee Community School District works in partnership with Lamers Bus Company
to provide transportation to and from school for our families.
All K-12 students that live within the transportation boundaries
are automatically enrolled for transportation to and from their home address.

found on our district transportation webpage for more information.
Opt-Out of Transportation for the School Year
Alternate Transportation Requests
Alternate transportation will open in Infinite Campus
on July 1st, 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year and close on July 31st, 2026.
Fees may apply.
