Application Process
- Timeline
After the application deadline has expired, hiring committees and/or hiring mangers review all applications received. If there is no application deadline, hiring committees/managers begin reviewing applications as soon as they are received.
*Please Note: Our district has different hiring committees and/or hiring managers for each position posted. If you are interested in more than one position, you must apply for each one. - Application Review
Applications are reviewed for minimum acceptable qualifications as outlined in the job posting. Applications are considered incomplete if the additional materials requested in the description are not attached to your application.
Please do not send additional materials via email to the contact email listed in a posting or to any other district staff member. Additional materials received via email will not be considered and are not reviewed. - Interview
Candidates selected for an interview are contacted via email. Our district interviews by committee which means there often is more than one person participating on the interview committee. Interviews may include performance tasks which you will be notified of prior to the interview whenever possible. - Reference Check
After an interview, references listed on the application will be contacted. - Follow Up
Due to the large number of applications we receive, you will not hear from us unless you are selected to be interviewed or have participated in an interview with our district.
Applicant FAQs
- Can I apply for a teaching or administrator/administrative support position before I graduate and/or receive my license?
Yes. We encourage you to apply and will proceed with the assumption you are enrolled in a teacher or administrator certification program and will be issued a license. - Do I need to attach my official transcripts for an administrator, administrative support, and/or teacher application?
We prefer official transcripts be submitted at the time of application, however, you may upload unofficial transcripts. Final, official transcripts are required upon recommendation of hire to assist in determining salary placement. - What license(s) is required?
All of our job postings that require a license list the specific Wisconsin license required. If you have questions on what you can teach or apply for relating to your license, you can find answers and/or contact the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Visit https://dpi.wi.gov/licensing for help. - I do not have all of my reference letters, can I submit my application without them?
You may submit your application without all required reference letters; however, please note that once your application is submitted, you cannot add to or edit it. If you withdraw your application, you will not be able to resubmit it for that job posting. Additionally, any materials sent via email will not be considered or reviewed.
